For UAE civil-law contracts, the current Civil Transactions Law is Federal Decree-Law No. 25 of 2025, in force from 1 June 2026. Contract advice may also require consideration of commercial, companies, employment, real-estate, consumer, free-zone or sector-specific rules depending on the agreement.
